Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs, bolied
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Bay leaf (tejpatta)
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Corriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Corriander leaves, chopped
Spice paste:
  • 1 tbsp Coconut, grated
  • 1 Onion, medium
  • 1 Tomoto, small
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 Ginger, minced
  • 1/2 Cinnamon
  • 5 Cloves
  • 1/8 tsp Cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (badisop)
  • Handful Corriander leaves

Preparation

  • Grind the spices to a fine paste with little water
  • In a pan, heat the oil. Add bay leaf and stir fro 5-10 seconds
  • Add the blended masala and stir well till the oil separates
  • Then add chilli powder, turmeric, corriander powder and stir
  • Then add water and salt and bring to a boil
  • Then add the cut eggs and add chopped corriander leaves
  • Serve hot with Chapati or rice
